What should we take with us when we go to the surgery?
As the surgery period nears, our stress rises, and many things come out of our minds. Until we arrive at our destination and open our suitcases, and recognize that you haven’t taken most of the things you had in mind with us.
We wanted to share with you some of the items that we suggest to take in your bag and bring with you for an operation in a hospital near you or another country.
The purpose for this is that the following questions are among the most frequently asked questions by our Health and Beauty Travel guests.
“What should we bring with us to the surgery? What should I put in my suitcase when I go to surgery? What should we take with us while we are in the hospital? Advice for those undergoing surgery? Patient preparation before surgery? What will be taken on the way to the surgery?
We have listed to you what we need to take with us when going to liposuction surgery, tummy tuck surgery, or Brazilian Butt lift surgery.
- Most importantly, a friend, spouse, or relative who will accompany you and assist you in this process.
- 3-4 pairs of underwear. Take comfortable stretchy underwear with you.
- Bring a pair of thick wool socks with you. When you come out of surgery, many patients may encounter tremors for about 30 minutes. Suggest them wearing these socks when they come to the surgery and take them to your room.
- Bring body wipes. You will stay in the hospital for two nights, especially in liposuction and tummy tuck, BBL surgeries. It will be useful to clean areas such as the neck, armpits, inside of the legs.
- Take 4 pairs of stretchy lycra T-shirts with you. Some patients encounter skin sensitivity during post-operative corset-wearing operations. Situations such as allergies, rashes, blisters, and diaper rash are observed. In such cases, these t-shirts under your corset will be great for you. For this, we remind you to act in consultation with your doctor.
- Choose slippers that are easy to wear.
- Set up a long phone charging cable. In some hospital rooms, you may not find a socket near your bed. This will create problems for you.
- Bring your own shampoo and soap.
- Especially for body aesthetics, choose nightgowns and pajama sets with buttons on the front. They will walk you about 4 hours after the surgery and at certain periods during the day. Choose loose-fitting nightgowns that you can wear comfortably while taking a walk in the hospital corridor.
- Don't forget your toothpaste and toothbrush.
- Your passport
- Those who have eye aesthetics should have wide-framed sunglasses with them.
- Wear a button-down shirt or shirt when going to the hair transplant.
