Rhinoplasty is performed for a variety of purposes. This surgery may be performed due to a medical condition or at the patient’s request. In some cases, rhinoplasty is performed for both aesthetic and functional reasons.

What to Consider Before Rhinoplasty?
Prior to rhinoplasty surgery, upper respiratory tract infections should be given special consideration. Your surgery may be postponed or even canceled due to illnesses such as colds and influenza.
Nose surgeries are surgeries with a risk of bleeding. For this reason, drugs and foods that increase bleeding should be avoided. You should stop taking blood thinners at least 15 days before. Especially do not use aspirin and similar drugs. Apart from this, do not drink fish oil, vitamin E, herbal teas.

Inform Your Physician of Your Expectations
Before undergoing rhinoplasty, please describe your expectations in detail on the E-Consultation form. Send photographs of your nose using the top, bottom, right, and left profiles. These images will be evaluated, and you will be instructed on the necessary actions.
On the day of surgery, you will see your physician. Your doctor will give you a thorough explanation of the procedure and what to do before and after the operation. If you have questions in the interim, you can consult your doctor.
What to Consider After Nose Surgery?
Rhinoplasty surgery lasts between one and two hours. It is carried out under general anesthesia. You will spend one night in the hospital on the day of your surgery. You will be released the day following your control.
For the first three days, 15 minutes of ice application will prevent bruising and swelling from worsening. Try to sleep on your back with two or three pillows under your head. Avoid movements that put your head in front of your body.
The sensation of sneezing is prevalent. In this case, you should not worry. It is possible to sneeze with the mouth open.
Try to keep your room cool. Avoid hot places.
Do not engage in heavy sports for approximately one month. Avoid lifting heavy objects.
Not wearing glasses for roughly three months.
Do not enter the water for 1.5 months. Avoid the pool for two months.
Utilize prescribed medications on a regular basis.
